![]() Note that the on most devices when you approve location services is "while using the app", which is a setting set by Apple and Google. We recommend you enable location services “all the time,” since your phone will not be unlocked while you are skiing or riding. In order to utilize ski tracking or the in-resort navigation, you must enable location services. This allows you to move between our various mobile apps and have a connected overall experience between apps and from season to season. Your email address is what connects your stats to your profile as it is unique to you. Why do I need to log in to access the ski tracking? If you are unsure if you already have an account or cannot remember your password, please go through the password reset flow and the system will help you regain control of your account. ![]() ![]() Realizing the remaining 60% is not hard though.Use the same username (email address) and password you use to log in to. The app is 80% of the way there in terms of functionality but only 40% of the way there in terms of real-world usability. Additionally, allowing users to start tracking without coverage should be quite feasible. Since I don't track myself the whole day (for phone battery reasons), the app is generally non-functional 80% of the time I want to use it due to not having cell coverage.Ĭaching the list of resorts and maps for offline access would solve this problem. You also can't start tracking (even without sharing your location with others) without coverage. This means that if you're somewhere without coverage (many if not most places in a ski resort) and want to look at a map, you can't. The app does a solid job at what it aims to do when you've got mobile data coverage, but it will do essentially nothing (other than continue to track your movement) if you don't have coverage. Good when you've got coverage, useless otherwise
